This goes out to you anet devs out there.

I HOPE you have seen the big farming exploit down in elona recently, my suggestion to you is this....

BAN THE BOT FARMERS....

I mean you can literally watch and see which ones are which!

If you just nerf the area of farming then you are doing no good and just hurting everybody else.

I for one farm there, its actually HALFWAY decent money, nothing big, maybe 1k out of every 3-4 runs, 2 if i'm lucky.

I just farm for the money, not items to sell, besides the golds i gotten there i tried to sell so i gave up on trying.

The bots actually don't hurt me at all, its just that I know something EVENTUALLY be done about this... eventually...

I just don't want it to be that the whole elona mission is nerfed of minos, I mean that would just hurt everyone else and the farming bots will just go somewhere else.

Solution = hurt the bots, not the area.

making 1k in 3 runs is kinda poor, make a wammo and do chest running i made 300k in 3 days from chests that kinda beats your 1k

Malice, how many hours per day did you need to have favor? elona is better than UW/FoW at the moment, I avg 500~600g a run, thats within 45seconds...
and that 300K is worth what now that factions is out? people want new skins, its a hard time to sell anything at the moment.

if you want to "chest farm" try the elite missions in factions, they don't require favor, but they require you own the place.

/signed, i hate bots for they ruin farming BUT, do you guys realize that by banning bots about 75% of chinese players would not be able to play GW and that would not be good for GW business, i dont think a mass ban is in their minds atm

Honestly, all bots just need to be account deleted. Anet checks the logs for exact repetitive actions, and ban/delete those accounts.

As for farming, chests in cantha have been good to me lately

The thing is this does effect everyone. That flow of money is a lot. There must be over 50 going at anytime. Now that money goes somewhere. It may be ebay or it may be some form of ingame trade but whatever it is it upsets the ingame economy. These people get money for nothing so they can afford to spend stupid ammounts on weapons which drives the prices up fpr everyone else.

Tien, if you want to see bots in action, just go to Elona reach. After 2 or 3 minutes, you will have no doubt that those aren't human players.

What's got me miffed is the BALLS these guys have now. I mean they're not even trying to keep in secret in Internation districts anymore. Even the American districts are now full of them. I see that as a spit in the face, personally. No shame, no fear. Have they won?

its funny as the EU elonas are full with chinese/korean bots now

noone of Anet seems to give a damn about it.. its even worse than it was in Diablo2 (yes, i do admit i had one running, but if you had played back then, youd know what fun it is to trade for expensive runes and then have them disappear from ur inv...). at least blizzard did their best and banned lots of people, not only for botting, but for maphacking too.anet dont bother
